“My domain extends from laughter to grimaces” Baptiste Roux.
Baptiste Roux, a multifaceted artist, develops art marked by digital imagery, painting, and sculpture. He is interested in the codes of contemporary communication through screens, televisions, cell phones, etc.
The artist creates hybrid forms by combining different techniques, and is interested in the chemistry of materials: he distorts matter, pulling, twisting, and inflating it.
The distortions and “texturizations” that the artist inflicts on his works produce ambiguous, disturbing, dripping results.
The exhibition is open to the public from November 16, 2005 to January 13, 2006.
