Based on this landmark 1982 exhibition in New York, Julie Ault, art critic and curator, founder of the “Group Material” collective of artists and curators, has agreed to repeat the exhibition on a Trojan scale. The concept is as follows: during a week-long installation, Trojan citizens are invited to exhibit a work or object to which they are particularly attached.

As part of the closing of the exhibition The People’s Choice, the Médiathèque Jacques Chirac will host a discussion featuring Mathis Collins, Pascaline Morincôme, and Olga Rozenblum, moderated by Maëla Bescond.
This discussion will focus on the dynamics inherent to the collaborative project The People’s Choice and its various reactivations over time, including the 2015 iteration at Treize, an independent venue located on Rue Moret in Paris, and the 2024 edition at Passages.
The event will be followed by a final tour of the exhibition and a friendly gathering with refreshments.
