“D’une rive à l’autre” brings together a body of work spanning some fifteen years. This title is to be seen as a journey through the time of his work, a work itself traversed by the time of images. The artist has chosen to exhibit several series showing his creative process, punctuated by quotations from various artistic currents, starting with the invention of photography, followed by the Impressionist and Luminist pictorial currents, Pictorialism, Spiritualist photography and photomontage.

For the first time at the Centre d’art contemporain / Passages, Nicolas Dhervillers has brought together the key projects that make up his DNA, as well as projects that have never been shown before.

This exhibition has an annex at the Musée des Beaux-arts et d’archéologie de Troyes, from November 3, 2021, where Dhervillers’ Crossfade project meets, from one century to the next, the work of Gustave Le Gray.
